This grain whisky was distilled at Port Dundas distillery located in Glasgow in 1978, then laid down for maturation for a long 35 years. Hunter Laing decided to bottle this cask at cask strength, 58.1%, in June 2013. Producer’s Tasting Notes:A fragrant, floral nose combining subtle spices with lemon zest and bourbon notes. The first sip brings creamy toffee, and vanilla custard drizzled with spiced honey. A lingering finish to end, with gentle waves of vanilla and oak spices.
