This malt is from Bruichladdich distillery, which was recently acquired by French spirits company Remy Cointreau (summer 2012). Distilled in 1992 and matured for 20 years in a refill sherry butt. Douglas Laing picked up this cask and bottled it under their Old Malt Cask range at 50% ABV. 363 bottles were ever released. 
 
Producer’s Tasting Note’s:
Nose: Hard candy sweet + sweet barley + sweet spice & late liquorice 
Palate: Lightly salted initially - hints at peat & heads to smoke & to ripe fruit
Finish: Carries camphor/cough drop spices, runny honey & late malt
