This malt was distilled in 1990 at renown Glenrothes distillery in Speyside and matured for 21 years in a refill sherry butt. 328 bottles were released in 2011 at 50% ABV by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Malt Cask range.  
 
Producer’s Tasting Notes:
Nose: Coconut and stewed fruits, honey, soy sauce and espresso beans, a hint of ginger.
Palate: Blackberry crumble, walnuts, hazelnut liqueur, brandy butter, cooked banana.
Finish: Honey, liquorice. Charred oak.
