THE WHISKY LIBRARY今年特別揀選了十分受歡迎的Rock Island，推出香港限定特別版 -- 香港島 Rock Island Hong Kong。

Rock Island是Douglas Laing Remarkable Regional Malts系列裡面島嶼區的代表，挑選了四個海島 -- Arran、Islay、Jura以及Orkney，把在這四個海島上生產的威士忌調和融合；這次的香港島版本更特別以西班牙雪莉桶陳年，為本來帶煙燻海風性格的Rock Island，增添乾果的甜感以及辛香料的複雜度，最後以原酒強度裝瓶，把最原本的風味帶回來香港。

作為香港限定特別版，在酒標設計上也有不少充滿心思的小細節，由代表著從前的小漁港的漁夫，到現代維港兩岸的天際線，更少不了以中文繁體字寫出「香港島」。希望喜愛香港的大家，也同樣喜歡這瓶香港限定特別版 -- 香港島 Rock Island Hong Kong。

Every year, the Whisky LIbrary will feature something special to my beautiful home Hong Kong and this year there is no exception. Say hi to the Rock Island Hong Kong Edition!

The blend marries a feast of Island whiskies, with malts from Arran, Islay, Jura and Orkney, enjoying its final stretch of maturation in specially selected Spanish sherry casks. The result is a whisky that offers up coastal salinity brilliantly balanced by dried fruit sweetness and warming spice. Bottled at a rather specific 53.5% ABV cask strength, and of course without colouring or chill filtration.

We did not just put the word “Hong Kong” on the label just to make it our special edition. Pay close attention to the detail and you will be delighted to find some of our most fabulous, mesmerizing icons of our beautiful home.
