Behold! The first organic blended malt whisky!

The name inspiration for Nc'Nean, Neachneohain, was an ancient Gaelic goddess. She was known as the Queen of Spirits and a fierce protector of nature. Strong and independent, she was never afraid to walk her own path.

In keeping with the spirit of Neachneohain, a protector of nature, the distillery uses 100 percent organic barley as well as its own pure spring water and produces entirely by means of renewable energy. In addition, the distillery works according to the waste avoidance principle: The leftovers from the barley are fed to the cows on the farm.

The first organic blended malt whisky, the producers at Thompson Bros. have created something very special.  They have married Nc'Nean and Dornoch organic single malts in an 80/20 split and bottled it at 48.5%.  The heavier, rich, oily spirit of Dornoch perfectly mates with the zesty, fresh and fruity spirit of Nc'Nean to create a complex dram worthy of spending some time with.  A small batch release, limited to 377 bottles.
