We are thrilled to introduce you the first Hong Kong exclusive Xtra Old Particular!
In celebrating the year of Dragon and The Whisky Library's 10th anniversary, we have picked this distinctive 30-year-old single cask distilled by Invergordon distillery.
Invergordon Distillery was founded in 1959 and started operations in 1961. The distillery has a reputation for consistency and quality in grain whisky production. The name "Invergordon" reflects the distillery's location near the town of Invergordon in the Highlands, an area historically known for its whisky-making heritage.
The Mashbill of Invergordon is an unique recipe of maize, malted and un-malted barley, and locally sourced Scottish wheat.
The silver blue dragon totem on the label is inspired by the antique Blue & White Dish with Dragons from Qing Dynasty, Xuantong period, one of the antique collectables of Clair & Francis Heritage Lane.
This exquisite 30-year-old Invergordon opens up with fresh autumn fruits and popcorn on the nose. The palate offers more dry fruits, ripe peaches, white chocolate and brown sugar. The finish is remarkably elegant that fills with rich toffee, caramel cream and coconut.
Bottled without chill filtration, no colouring and at natural cask strength at 49.2%. Only 96 bottles were produced.
