A well-aged Invergordon selected by Thompson Brothers. Showcasing the finest traditions of Highland distilling. We love to see it.

Invergordon Distillery was founded in 1959 and started operations in 1961. The distillery has a reputation for consistency and quality in grain whisky production. The name "Invergordon" reflects the distillery's location near the town of Invergordon in the Highlands, an area historically known for its whisky-making heritage.

Rich oak aroma, caramel hard candies, more aromas like raw honey sticks or almond cake on the nose. Palate brings baking spice, brown sugar, ripe white fruits , chocolate coconut and caramel cream. Leather-forward lingering earthy finish, with birthday cake flavors, cut grass, grain fields, charred lemongrass.

This single grain whisky distilled at Invergordon distillery in December 1987 was matured for 35 years in a single refill barrel before bottling in January 2023. Only 230 bottles produced and bottled at cask strength ABV 54.3%.
