Description

The defining feature of this whisky is its Oloroso sherry octave cask finish. Oloroso sherry casks are known for adding nutty richness, dried fruit, spice, chocolate and darker sweetness to whisky. When used in octave format, that influence becomes even more concentrated.

Octave casks have a smaller capacity than standard barrels, meaning there is more wood contact relative to the volume of spirit. This intensifies the interaction between whisky and cask, helping bring extra depth and flavour in a shorter finishing period.

In this Glenrothes 10 years old Oloroso cask treatment brings a bold profile of chocolate, butterscotch, dried fruit, spice, stewed fruit and honeyed oak. It is an expressive sherry cask Speyside whisky made for drinkers who enjoy impact and intensity.

Only 96 bottles produced and bottled at natural cask strength 53.5%  and is un-chill filtered to ensure that the personality of this cask remains.

All purchases above the sub-total of $1800 HKD will be waived of delivery fees. For deliveries within Hong Kong $80 HKD will be charged if the purchase which total amount is below $1800 HKD.

Deliveries can only be made to Discovery Bay, Park Island and Tung Chun on Tuesday and Thursday.
