Description

The creators of the Outer Banks Distillery are friends who met while working at the town's local Brewery on Kill Devil Hill, where three of them lived. The Demerara River, which runs through Guyana, is well-known for attracting the best sugar canes in the world.

Coming from the Diamond distillery in Guyana, this exceptional rum illustrates the know-how of Kill Devil, the flagship brand of the independent Scottish bottler Hunter Laing. Since 2013, this family-owned home has been highlighting remarkable Single Casks, selected from across the Caribbean and beyond, then hand-bottled in Scotland. With its 17 years of maturation, this rum expresses a rare complexity and depth.

Distilled from fermented molasses in a pot still still, this rum reflects the very essence of Guyanese traditions. ABV 55.9% fineness underlines an intense character, reserved for lovers of powerful and authentic rums. This limited edition of only 232 bottles makes it a treasure prized by collectors and enthusiasts.
