Anyone who knows us is likely to read this concept for the umpteenth time. We apologize in advance, but we are forced to point this out again and we do it with great satisfaction and a bit of pride. We love our work, you know it, we love it above all because it allows us to talk around the world of spirits conceived, designed and created in other worlds. This cognac has been waiting to be drunk for seventy-three years ... well yes it was the year 1946 while in the world we realized what the Second World War had been, while France rediscovered itself after the trauma of invasion and invaded occupation and while in America a new Rome was born or rather it was consecrated ... Someone picked up the grapes that gave birth to this bottle.
We repeat we love this work precisely because we have nothing else to add !!! The first impact is the visual one: a warm copper color with golden reflections welcomes us and prepares us for the nose meeting with a fruity bouquet. Beware a non-trivial ripe fruitiness with complete complex tones without any trace of bitterness. That feeling you get when you pick a fruit at the perfect time. The fruit notes are accompanied by the sweet plum hazelnut; everything is wisely bound by woody and resin references. In the mouth it reveals itself to be wide and complex, with a vortex of sensations that passes from the already expressed fruit by olfactory up to a spacing interwoven by our most important masters: Wood and Time
