On the nose, it opens up with Highland honey initially with a touch of spice giving way to blackcurrant jelly and cocoa. The Port heritage is immediately apparent on the palate with redberries and juicy raisins balanced by a mellow, barley style. Proceeding to the finish, the vanilla character carries through to a well-balanced sweet and spicy finish.
