Domaine d’ Aurensan is a family business of 4 generations, produces Triple-Zero Armagnac, which are with no added sugar, added coloring, and added water, not any other food adjutants. They grow their own grapes for the armagnac and even the casks are made of oak trees at the estates, bringing all the aromatic singularity to their eaux-de-vie.
Their approach to blending is unique in Armagnac. They do not seek to reproduce a standard taste but to offer what seems the most interesting at a given moment.
Each of the blends is identified by a batch number. Its composition is traced by means of a family tree. When the batch is finished, they prepare a new 20 Year Blend that will be different from the previous one.
This armagnac carries great aromatic clarity. The nose is sunny around pretty fruity notes: apricot, passion fruit, roasted pineapple... A nice length for a toasted brioche finish.
