The Whisky Library's private bottle
Our Hunter Laing's Old and Rare private barrel, a 33 year Tormore as a fifty-bottle limited batch.
This deep amber whisky has a rich, dense nose with cured meats, tobacco, dates and plum jam combined. Dark and intense on the palate with more tobacco, cocoa, powder, black pepper and walnuts, combined with plenty of European oak spice. The finish is long, drying and peppery -- A whisky well worth taking time over.
Similar to the other barrels of Hunter Laing's Old and Rare private bottles, The Whisky Library's Tormore Private Bottles, the labels are specially designed with dragon and phoenix motifs.
