Where do we start...
We have a passion for assembly. Part children part alchemists, we potter with the samples. Having done so for Jamaica rum, we could not omit to write a Barbados-themed opera.
Done. Two great rums, 2005 and 2007, become one in an even more mystical incarnation than usual.
Clear, severe, powerful and mysterious; as usual with a seductive touch, therefore attractive and sensual.
The nose is sweet-rich: almond paste, southern cakes, Mediterranean biscuits, marzipan. A cutie!
Citrus notes and cold limoncello from the Amalfi coast looking down onto the gulf... sorry, I forget myself!
As we taste we are projected forwards: we witness it play out like a Rossini overture, each molecule a universe.
From a savoury mineral point of origin, we now explore a wide and persistent array of sensations.
