In the 17th and 18th centuries, islanders referred to their locally made distillates as Kill Devil. Whilst today many of the old superstitions have gone, the Caribbean is still the source of many exotic rums.

Kill Devil Navy Style Blended is a blend of molasses rums from the Caribbean. Hunter Laing selects, matures and bottles rum casks from around the world under the Kill Devil brand.

This Navy Style Blended Rum it's a marriage of rums from Guyana and Jamaica, aged in American white oak barrels. The rum was reduced and bottled in Scotland, without coloring or chill-filtration.

This “Navy Strength” bottling was made in homage to the navigators of the Royal British Navy, who at the time received a daily ration of alcohol. From 57°, if the rum were inadvertently poured onto gunpowder, it could still catch fire.
