The Le Roch Extra Cognac is a blend born from the discovery of some very old batches of Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie, by a widow who inherited Cognacs produced in the Angeac-Champagne region, one of the finest terroirs in the region. These very old batches were then blended with older, more floral Cognacs and reduced slightly in water, before being left to age in small barrels for decades deep down in the Le Roch cellars.
This mature Cognac is a fine example of a top-quality Cognac and offers extremely good value for money. Slightly overproof at 43%, this Petite Champagne blend is an excellent choice for a Cognac to bring out on special occasions.
The small house of La Roch offers a small range of high-quality Cognacs, and if you've yet to discover their wares, then this will certainly be one that will have you returning to discover more. Fans of Petite Champagne Cognacs certainly won't be disappointed.
