A mystery Speyside single malt, bottled by the fantastic Thompson Bros. It is presented at natural cask strength and is really tasty.

The Thompson Bros love referencing a historic bottle design on their labels, and this one is very similar to The Manager's Dram series by Diageo.


On the nose, autumnal orchard fruits; red apple, pear, plum and quince. rooibos tea, redcurrants, jellied fruits, apricot jam and marmalade. Palate is dry with walnuts, fino, amontillado and cranberries. more rooibos, currants, sultanas, cinnamon quills and orange oil. Medium finish with plenty of aromatic spices, red fruits, berries and equine.

This was distilled in 2006 and aged for 17 years in a sherry hogsheads. Bottled in 2023 at cask strength, 54.4% ABV. Non-chill filtered and no added color.
