A few years ago, we fell in love with this single cask of cognac during a visit to the Grosperrin family in France. We decided to bottle it at the ages of 28, 29 and 30 to reflect the flavours that were enriched to the liquid by the cask.
This single cask cognac is much like a delicate dessert after a plentiful meal. Fruity and chocolaty flavours mingle with cream and cakery all melded together, ready to bloom.
Out of our productions of the Dessert Series, this 30 years old batch has came as the third edition. Compared to the "chocolate pie" first edition and the energetic, "orange cake" second edition, this edition carries a perfect balance and depth of taste.
Our librarians haven't yet agreed on which dessert it should be, can you?
