The Girvan distillery is a lowland grain whisky distillery located in South Ayrshire. Owned by William Grant & Sons, Girvan is one of the largest facilities in Scotland in which whisky is made.
Known as one of the most energy efficient distilleries in Scotland, the distillery is named after the town of Girvan. The nose is butterscotch-soaked sticky toffee pudding, hints of hazelnut praline and milk chocolate. The palate is biscuits almond with custard creams ad ginger snaps alongside a soft orange note. Finish is caramelised stem ginger brings sweet and spicy together with hints of burnt matches.
