A dram we describe as “city born and bred”, The Epicurean is a blend of some of the finest Lowland Malts; a marriage of the best that the East and the West of Scotland have to offer. This 12 Years Old Small Batch bottling is proudly offered at 46% alcohol strength, and is bursting with honeyed barley, ripe peaches and spice.
On the nose is sweet with honeyed barley, candied peels and toasted nuts. The palate is sugar with citrus zest, ripe peaches and a touch of spice. The finish is cut grass and a herbal character, a gristy quality with coconut flakes and brown sugar.
