獨立蘇格蘭威士忌蒸餾商、調和師與裝瓶商 Douglas Laing & Co. 隆重宣布,旗下 Rock Island 品牌全新限量版本正式登場——Rock Island 16 年雪莉版。

延續 2023 年推出並大獲好評的 14 年雪莉版,此次全新版本在雪莉桶中額外延長了兩年熟成時間,令酒體風味層次更為深邃飽滿。

這款出色的島嶼麥芽威士忌,由蘇格蘭威士忌名島 Orkney、Arran、Jura 與 Islay 的單一麥芽完美調和而成,全數陳年 16 年,並以雪莉桶為主體熟成。 精心揀選的酒桶在保留 Rock Island 代表性的甜美泥煤與海洋風格之上,進一步疊加出乾果、核桃與雲呢拿香氣,並帶來蜂巢糖與烤杏仁的細膩層次,充分展現延長熟成時間所帶來的非凡影響。

酒精度為 46.8%,與 14 年雪莉版保持一致,讓兩款以雪莉風味為主導的作品得以作出直接對比。 一如 Douglas Laing 一貫堅持,此酒未經冷凝過濾,亦不添加任何人工著色,忠實呈現「越自然越好」的家族裝瓶理念。

此版本採用高質感燙金紙盒搭配相應設計酒標包裝,為 Rock Island 帶來煥然一新的視覺風格——現代而有力量,同時不失其一貫的海洋傳承。

Independent Scotch Whisky Distillers, Blenders, and Bottlers, Douglas Laing & Co., are proud to announce their latest limited-edition release under the Rock Island brand: Rock Island 16-Year-Old Sherry Edition.

Following the success of the 14-Year-Old Sherry Edition, released in 2023, this unique Island Malt has been matured for an additional two years in Sherry casks, resulting in even greater depth of flavour.

This exceptional Whisky is a marriage of Single Malts from the Whisky-making islands of Orkney, Arran, Jura, and Islay, all aged for 16 years and predominantly matured in Sherry casks. These hand-selected casks enhance Rock Island’s signature sweet peat and maritime influence with layers of dried fruits, walnut, and vanilla, now complemented by honeycomb and toasted almonds. A true testament to the impact of additional maturation time.

Bottled at 46.8% ABV, this edition mirrors the strength of the 14-Year-Old, allowing for a direct comparison between these two Sherry-led expressions. As with all Douglas Laing releases, it is non-chill filtered and free from artificial colouring, in line with the family ethos of bottling Whisky ‘as natural as it gets’.

Packaged in a premium foiled carton with a complementing label, this release presents Rock Island in a new light – modern and powerful, yet true to its maritime heritage.
