A First for The Gauldrons

Independent Scotch Whisky specialist Douglas Laing & Co. proudly introduces The Gauldrons Eclipse Edition - the first release of its kind in our Campbeltown-inspired range. For the very first time, this enigmatic Blended Malt has been finished in Orange Wine Casks from the ancient cellars of Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, Spain.

The result is a spirit where Campbeltown tradition meets the unexpected, delivering a Whisky experience that is fleeting, rare, and unforgettable. 

Rooted in Campbeltown’s Mystery

The Gauldrons has always been a Whisky steeped in the shadows of Campbeltown, Scotland’s smallest and once most prolific Whisky-producing region. Known for its storm-lashed coastlines and rich heritage, Campbeltown brings character, complexity, and intrigue to every dram. 

With Eclipse, that legacy is reimagined. The marriage of Single Cask Single Malts from this region, enriched by Orange Wine Cask finishing, creates a union of flavours both familiar and otherworldly.

Much like an eclipse alters the light in the sky, Eclipse alters your expectations of The Gauldrons.

Nose: Malt, dried apricots, orange peel, toasted almonds.
