This Navy Style Blended Rum it's a marriage of rums from Guyana and Jamaica, aged in American white oak barrels. The rum was reduced and bottled in Scotland, without coloring or chill-filtration.
This “Navy Strength” bottling was made in homage to the navigators of the Royal British Navy, who at the time received a daily ration of alcohol. From 57°, if the rum were inadvertently poured onto gunpowder, it could still catch fire.
