This single malt single cask Glen Grant had been aged for 29 years and discharged from a Refilled Barrel. Bottled by Hunter Laing, under Old & Rare series, only 207 bottles were produced.
Glen Grant is one of the top five bestselling Scotch single malt distilleries worldwide. The Campari Group acquired Glen Grant whisky distillery in 2006. The name derives from the family name of the Grants and the Scottish word for valley ‘Glen’. Accordingly, Glen Grant means ‘Valley of the Grants’.
This Glen Grant 29yo opens up with fresh citrus fruits, honey and dried fruit on the nose. The palate offers more zesty orange rind, pear drop quality alongside lime juice then catch the delicious crème caramel style. Long finish of smooth sweetness and richly fruity.
