An elegant single cask grain whisky from the lost Port Dundas distillery. For 200 years, Port Dundas supplied grain for blending but in 2011 the plant was closed and demolished shortly after – adding its name to the list of Scotland’s ghost distilleries.
Aromas of caramel based, toffees & dark fruit fill the nose, complemented by notes of honeycomb, peach, baked ginger, toasted waffles and crème brûlée sugar throughout the palate.
This Old Particular from Port Dundas distillery has spent 18 long years maturing in a PX Sherry butt. Bottled at a strength of 48.4%, only 452 bottles exist globally.
