Based in Ténarèze region, Domaine D`Aurensan is a grower-producer of highly sought-after armagnacs. The 7-hectare estate is run by Bernard Rozès and his two daughters, Sophie and Caroline who are involved in every aspect of the production. This particular release is a blend of vintage armagnacs, including Eau-de-vie distilled in 1976. It is a `triple zero armagnac which mean that no sugar, colouring or water is added has been added to the final liquid.
Domaine d'Aurensan’s approach to Blends is unique in Armagnac. They do not seek to reproduce a standard taste but rather to offer what seems most interesting at a given moment.
This aromatic 15 years old blend has a very beautiful golden colour with copper tints. The nose is intense with notes of dried fruits, almonds, apricot and stones. The finish is harmonious and generous. A frank and perfectly balanced spirit.
