Thompson Bros. really knows how to bottle an interesting whisky and give it an equally lovely label.
Nose comes gingernut biscuits, floral honey, and lots of red berry sweetness, with soft vanilla and peppery spice to balance. The palate is jammy fruit continues, with nutty malt, sweet figs, and chocolate raisins. Long gentle finish with cinnamon prickles through sultanas and caramel.
Aultmore single malt Scotch whisky distilled on 27 May 2009 and matured for 13 years in a red wine barrel before being bottled up in August 2022. There's only 285 bottles total, filled at 50% ABV
